Recipe – Keto Ghee Rice

Cauliflower Ghee Rice (Keto Friendly)


  • Cauliflower – 2 heads.
  • Ghee – 3 tbsp.
  • Cumin aka jeera – 1/2 Tsp.
  • Cinnamon – 1/2 inch piece.
  • Cloves – 4.
  • Cardamom aka Elaichi – 2 pods.
  • Nigella aka black caraway aka kalaunji seeds – 1/2tsp.
  • Onion – 1 small, chopped.
  • Salt – 1/2tsp.


  • Wash cauliflower, pat dry, whizz in the food processor. Can also use a grater to grate cauliflower evenly. Make enough for 4 cups.
  • Dry roast cauliflower on medium heat just enough to get the excess moisture away – do not let it change color. Remove from pan and set aside.
  • Heat the ghee in the pan. Add Jeera, Cinnamon, Cloves, Elaichi, Kalaunji (Ignore any spice you dislike).
  • Add onion, fry on low heat until onion starts to brown.
  • Add salt.
  • Add cauliflower back to pan, toss until mixed well. Serve!

Health Benefits : Good source of vitamin K, protein, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, magnesium, phosphorus, fiber, vitamin B6, folate, pantothenic acid, potassium, and manganese.
